Tanja Van Deer is an artist who lets her imagination roam on a long leash. Her work is a playground for the verbal, the visual and the visceral. Thought provoking and provocative, she likes to conjure the unusual from the mundane. Her creativity manifests as a paradox of playful seriousness, challenging social mores and questioning normative experiences.
